You’re ready to go shopping and are wondering where the best place to buy computer parts is. Well on this page I will show you some of myThe best place to buy computer parts favorite places to go, and give you a little bit of a run down on what’s good about them, and what people have to say about their experiences with them. This way you aren’t taking a lot of your time finding the best places on your own, you can get right down to doing some serious shopping. If you don’t know what parts to look for check out this page, How to buy computer hardware.

TigerDirect:

I’ll start with TigerDirect because it is my top most favorite place to shop around, not because they’re the best, but because I have been shopping there for many years now, and I know the layout of their site, so I am able to find what I’m looking for easily. The best place to buy computer parts I have found their layout to be easy and simple to navigate around, a great user experience.

They have one of the largest selections around for computer parts; they also carry a wide range of electronics, such as television, audio centers, and speakers, just to name a few, alone with office supplies. It is a great place for window shopping.

For their shipping, they offer free shipping, when you sign up to ShopRunner for 79.00 dollars for 1 year or if you spend $150.00 or more when signing up the cost will be free the first year. Now the reviews on ShopRunner are not so hot, I have not tried them and from what I read about them, I don’t think I will be using them any time soon. You can check out their reviews here at (www.resellerratings.com/store/Shoprunner)

Over all the years and thousands of dollars I have never ran into any problems with shipping, customer service or returns for damaged items. (Maybe I’m one of the lucky onesJ) As far as their mail in rebates, I have never had too much luck with them. The rebate comes directly from the manufactures, not TigerDirect, so no help from them.

Next up Newegg:

Newegg.com is rated to be the most popular online store for computer components, they have a large selection, but not quite as large as TigerDirect. They also carry a wide range of electronics, and office supplies, and even auto supplies. The best place to buy computer parts This is another great place to window shop, the layout is easy to navigate and you will find helpful videos on most pages.

For their shipping they also offer ShopRunner, but as I stated above you may want to check out their reviews first. If you do a lot of shopping with them you may want to look into their Newegg Premier membership. It offers free 3 days or less shipping, free return shipping, and no restocking fee, all for $50.00 a year.

For the items I purchased from them I had no problems, they arrived on the date that they quoted, undamaged and working just fine. I have never had to contact their customer service, but reading the reviews I found for the most part customer where generally satisfied with dealing with them, another great place to shop.

NCIX US:

NCIX US.com. I found this to be a strange name, but hey, whatever works for them. So starting with their layout, navigating around is not as easy as Newegg or TigerDirect, but after a few minutes of trial and error I found it to be OK, and was able to find what I was looking for.The best pace to buy computer parts Their selections are not as large as Newegg or TigerDirect, but sufficient for most shopping.

If you know what you are looking for and have look on other sites you will find they have comparable prices, if not better than most. As far as their customer service rating goes I would give it a 60/40 from all the reviews I read.

They provide Free Shipping on select orders over $100 & under 100 lbs, and Over night air shipping for a fee of course. You can try out their Price Matching to get even a better price on your purchases if you’re willing to do the leg work of finding out the price from whomever and then filling out their form, you could save some money (always a good thing). I have yet to try them out, but from what I have read, this also could be a great place to shop.

MicroCenter:

Micro Center.  Another great place for window shopping, the layout is easy to navigate around, and finding what you are looking for is easy also. They seem to have a large selection of hardware and great prices to go with them. The best place to buy computer partsThey have 25 stores around the USA and their web store, so if you’re lucky to have one near you, you can order online for in store pickup and avoid any shipping fees. Along with their computer components they also carry TV’s, Home theaters systems, and Hobby Electronics.

You will find that not all Items are available for shipping, they only carry those items at their local store’s, and for their shipping you are provided with the usually Standard, 2-day, and Overnight at the going rates.

As for their customer rating they top out at 80/20, I only came across a small few comments that weren’t so good. So if there was a store near me I would defiantly give them a try.

Amazon:

I would think that everyone out there that has done any shopping online knows of the most visited place to find anything that you can think of is Amazon.  So needless to say they have the largest selections of everything, within reason.

They offer the best shipping rates with their Amazon Prime Membership for the $100.00 a year price, with all the other goodies that come with it,The best place to buy computer parts I have found it to be well worth the money if you do a lot of shopping with them.

The only thing is their layout doesn’t provide you with an easy way of finding just computer hardware items. The best way is to visit one of the other stores, copy the model # of the item and then past it into the search bar at Amazon.

From what I have seen their prices are comparable, or cheaper in some cases. Now for customer service, I have never had to use them; all of my purchase went like clockwork with no hiccups. But now reading many of the reviews on them, they come out at about 65/35, which I don’t think is bad considering they deal with millions of customers a day. So yes I find this another great place to shop online.

The Best Places to Buy Computer Hardware.

So there you have it, my 5 favorite online electronics stores, they’re not listed in any certain order, and what I have wrote here is just my opinion from my experiences with them, and the reviews that I read on each of them. With millions of shoppers out there you will always find ones that have a bad experience, and they are usually the first ones to write a review of their experiences. Whereas for the ones that encounter no problems with their purchases fail to write a review about their time spent at the stores. I hope you have found this article to be helpful in your search for great places to shop.
